Physical therapists oversee all of our fitness services, which allows us to offer the highest quality group fitness classes & personal training services in Central Massachusetts. We make sure you are doing what is needed to meet your goals while staying injury free!

VIRTUAL Group Fitness Classes

Same high-quality workout from the comfort and safety of your own home! 

No equipment is required, but multiple options are provided for each exercise to accommodate those who do have access to weights, bands, or exercise balls. 

You do not need to be a previous patient to join our group classes! Many prior patients choose to transition into our group classes, as it allows for a seamless transition from rehabilitation to training.

Personal & Semi-Private Training 

You create the goal. We design the program to achieve it!  Our personal training programs are tailored to YOU. Do you want to work with us daily, once per week, twice per week? Do you want to meet monthly to set-up a program you can complete on your own? In order to meet your busy schedule we have training sessions available from 6:30 am - 7:30 pm.

Work one-on-one or in small groups with a CMPT fitness professional who understand the science of exercise and weight loss. Our fitness team will serve as your personal coach, educator, positive role model, and primary source of motivation!


CMPT is a rehabilitation facility, so your safety and wellness are our top priorities! Your trainer will assure that your posture, technique, and breathing are correct throughout the workout. Additionally, our fitness team is in constant collaboration with our rehabilitation team!

Personal Training Packages

30-Minute Session: $50     |      60-Minute Session: $75

5 Sessions (30-Min): $199      |       5 Sessions (60-Min): $299

Semi Private Training Rates

Same as personal training, just split the rate with 1-2 friends! 

Gold Program - $199

  • Initial consult meeting

  • 60-90 min session to teach you your individualized program

  • Video instructions for each exercise taken on your cell phone (or sent to you via email)

  • Unlimited email correspondence


Platinum Program - $250

  • Free use of CMPT Gym during your 6-week program

  • All components of "Gold Program"

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I schedule a personal training (or semi-private training) session?

Please contact our front office to schedule your training session. We offer training sessions between 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM on weekdays. Our training sessions are generally 30-60 minutes long.

How much will it cost for me to come trial a group fitness class?

We offer a free trial for all of our group fitness classes. After your free trial you can choose to pay per class ($20) or reduce your per class cost by choosing a punch card package that works best for you. See our group class section above for more information about payment options.

What is the average number of participants in a group fitness class?

Our group fitness classes typically include 8-12 participants.

How will I know if I can keep up with the pace and difficulty level of group class?

Our group fitness classes are designed for a variety of fitness levels and are easily modified! Class participants include individuals who are newer to exercising and those who are currently competitive in sport. We take pride in our ability to make our fitness classes the optimal challenge for each individual who walks through our doors. If you have any questions about group class please contact our office for more information.

Do you offer camps or "specialty" classes designed for specific sports?

Yes! We offer sport-specific strength and conditioning camps during the summer. In addition, we have conducted golf clinics, after-school fitness programs for adolescents, cycling and multi-sport classes, and others. Check our website for current and upcoming classes offered at CMPT. Our facebook page is also a great way to hear about our newest class offerings.

Can I participate in group fitness classes or personal training while also receiving PT?

Yes! Our fitness trainers and therapists share the same methodology and are in constant collaboration with each other. Fitness training at CMPT is a great way to reinforce your physical therapy. It is also a great way for patients to transition from physical therapy to an independent gym routine. Ask your therapist about personal training or group fitness classes if you are interested!
