An Innovative Approach to Physical Therapy

We are CMPT! One of Central Mass’s top physical therapy practices and home of the “Best of Central Mass.”

In a profession that is becoming more numbers driven, CMPT chooses QUALITY over quantity every time.  CMPT believes in a one-on-one treatment approach and at times, a two-on-one approach (that’s two CMPT therapists to one patient in the same session!).

My wife and two children have all had amazing experiences with Mike and his team. Each had different needs, but from the first appointment for each of them, we consistently sensed we were in exceptionally talented hands. And when you couple that skill with a caring, spirited, results-focused approach, you have a winning combination. Thank you!

Caring empathetic staff . My favorite part was the convenient evening hours and location From surgery and having limited use of a limb to maximum medical improvement with full range of motion thanks to their program and staff . I highly recommend this business. .

After years of repeated injuries, pain and Doctors I was recommended to go to Central MA PT from my Doctor’s office. I was very nervous going in, but Connor McLaughlin takes the time to understand your situation, sets realistic expectations, and finds creative ways to help you to improve. He is incredible at listening and understanding where you are coming from and what each patient needs. Connor helped me after an ankle injury, before surgery, and then after surgery. My recovery was so quick after surgery due to Connor’s expertise and motivation for me to reach my goal of healing and strength. Connor is incredibly smart, and he finds ways to explain what is happening so the patient fully understands where they are at in the process, and so the patient can make the connections of how each treatment or exercise is impacting the body. It is also fun when you have your appointment. Connor always switches it up so you keep finding new ways to progress. Connor was flexible with appointment times and always focused on his patients during those appointments. I would not of gotten to the place I am at in my recovery without Central MA PT and Connor.

I have used CMPT after having right and left knee replacement surgeries. I can not say enough about everyone there! Once you get inside you feel like your being taken care of, from the office staff to the therapists. They all have a genuine investment in your recuperation! The staffs' camaraderie makes you feel like part of their family. I have been extremely happy with the results of my therapy! I would like to send out a special THANKS to Laura for her genuine care, respect, and professionalism. Great experience

I first went to CMPT&W for pelvic floor physical therapy. I was skeptical that anyone or anything could help. I thought I was just getting old. I had an intake with Dominque and Robin that was mind blowingly kind and thorough and compassionate and validating and immensely helpful in my every day life. Just getting some guidance on bracing and relaxing, inhaling and exhaling, flexibility and strength was a HUGE improvement. I had 3 more sessions, doing my "homework" faithfully; and after all these years (I'm 55) my issues are resolved. And when they pop up occasionally, I know how to address them from the advice of CMPT. The second time I went to CMPT, I had been rear ended, hard. My neck hurt instantly and I was taken by ambulance to the hospital. I rested for a couple weeks then saw Ben at CMPT. His assessment was thorough and kind and spot on. He was able to identify range of motion and stiffness issues. He treated me with multiple modalities - grafting, cupping, massage, stretching, lacrosse ball, etc. And talked with me about other modalities - chiropractic, water immersion, different types of massage. And gave me homework. At our next session, my range of motion had improved just walking in and by the end of my second session, after Ben's treatment, my range of motion had increased dramatically. I cannot recommend CMPT highly enough!

I’m very grateful for the excellent care I recently received from the staff at CMPT. Special thanks to Ben and Kaitlin, who expertly diagnosed and fixed my back problem, and gave me the tools I needed to remain healthy.

Referred to CMPT in W. Boylston to address range of motion issues with hips. Connor was brilliant at deciphering my strengths/need areas and gave me a lot of creative exercises and stretches. All of this quickly empowered me to improve the range of motion and also to notice areas I need to work on more. Highest recommendation, go to CMPT!

I had nothing but the best physical therapists. They really knew what they were doing with my injury and took me through it one step at a time. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with the injury I had.
