An Innovative Approach to Physical Therapy

We are CMPT! One of Central Mass’s top physical therapy practices and home of the “Best of Central Mass.”

In a profession that is becoming more numbers driven, CMPT chooses QUALITY over quantity every time.  CMPT believes in a one-on-one treatment approach and at times, a two-on-one approach (that’s two CMPT therapists to one patient in the same session!).

I cannot speak highly enough about everyone at CMPT. The front desk staff were friendly, courteous and accommodating to my schedule. I was fortunate to work with Laura Kidman and Connor Dougherty who coordinated my care. They are awesome! I learned so much from them about body mechanics and how it impacts pain management. As a non-athletic woman over 60, I thought I wouldn't be able to do anything they asked me to, I was wrong! With their expertise, explaining everything, answering all my questions, I learned what I am capable of doing and I had fun working with them! They created a wellness plan for me and made sure I understood how to go forward after PT. Thank you Laura and Connor! I highly recommend CMPT!

Mike was highly recommended by a friend to help me with my hip tightness. It was affecting my sleep and after a few months of treatments I have improved my mobility and no longer in pain.

I worked with Mike Curnen to resolve ankle pain after being referred by my podiatrist. Mike is extremely knowledgable and didn't focus on just my ankles, but looked holistically at the mechanics of the way I walked to identify the cause of my issues. He helped me put together an exercise program that focused on strengthening muscles to improve my mechanics and relieve much of the stress on my ankles. I've had physical therapy on and off for knee and ankle issues and my experience at CMPT and their focus not just on a specific joint, but the bigger picture has been incredibly beneficial.

CMPT is like family to me. The whole staff works together as a well oiled machine to do its best for a positive outcome. The therapy they provide prior to and after surgeries and/or injuries aides in one's recovery and the regaining of strength. Additionally, those working in the front office are always so kind & helpful; always with a solution and a smile. Telehealth visits with Jackie Shaker were necessary during the pandemic, and it went very well. I was seen in my own home environment and exercises were tailored specifically to my needs in that particular space. Truly amazing! Graduating from PT to "wellness health" classes with Matt was an added bonus. Matt works directly with the therapists and modifies exercises & circuits to exactly what you need. You might not be ready "just yet" for a particular exercise, but with the right modification you can build up and eventually master that exercise. Over the years, I've worked with many of the CMPT therapists, and each & every one treated me with the utmost respect & quality of care. If you are looking for PT or Wellness Health, you need not look any further. CMPT is the best option for you.

Central Mass Physical Therapy is best in class. Excellent diagnosticians who quickly get to the root source cause of the problem. I was fortunate enough to work with Jackie and Robyn who identified issues with my running form that were causing lower leg pain. A progression of PT exercises got me back on track. The staff are very positive and professional.

I have been with CMPT for 3 years. The front desk staff is amazing, fielding calls, arranging appointments and most of all a positive and welcoming introduction to the facility. Mike Roberts has personally saved me from back surgery. A true healer and motivator. I have to say you have to put in the work to get results, but there has never been a more knowledgeable person in my life to get me off the couch. Matt Mccloud personal trainer who also supports the staff has been amazing. Picking the correct exercises and collaborating with the Physical Therapists. There is always a watchful eye, positive reinforcement and a very very positive environment.

CMPT is the only place we would go. We have been to CMPT a few times for various reasons and have always felt like the staff truly cares about all the clients they serve. Jackie is truly dedicated to her profession. She’s always learning and passing her extensive knowledge on to others. We’ve been to see Jackie and other staff members over the years and have always gotten better and pain free. If you want to feel better I suggest you make an appointment at CMPT. You won’t regret it.

Love this place! I’ve had great experiences here with a few different therapists. My latest visit I saw Dominique and Shay for some shoulder issues and after just a few weeks I have less pain, better mobility, and am back on track to resume my normal routine and workouts. Highly recommend this facility and will definitely come back in the future for any PT needs that come up! Thanks CMPT!!

i really can’t speak well enough of CMPT! when i first started going there, my knee problems were so bad that i had to sit out of most physical activities and even walking was a struggle. after my experience here, however, i started playing sports again and did not feel restricted by any physical pain. the CMPT community is so nice, all of the physical therapists here are genuinely kind people who focus on you as an individual. the process to getting back on your feet is tailored to your needs and each step is explained to help YOU! CMPT not only took away my pain, it also made me stronger and feel better mentally and physically. overall, CMPT is an incredible place that anyone and everyone can feel good about going to.
