2. What do I need to make sure my insurance covers my visit?

All insurances require a prescription for physical therapy. This can be brought on your first visit or faxed to us: 508-852-3777.

Currently, Blue Cross Blue Shield is the only provider who requires a referral from your primary doctor.

Unicare requires you to contact them at least 24 hours prior to your first visit.

In you have not had therapy for this injury or body part in the last 18 months and have a prescription, you are likely covered.
To be sure of coverage, you are encouraged to call your insurance company for confirmation.

It is your responsibility to understand your insurance benefits for physical therapy.
